David Hunter takes Number Two spot in the Payment Power 10

David Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of Ukash, the global online cash provider, has been announced as Number Two in the 2013 Payment Power Top 10.  In the guide to the most powerful and influential individuals in the European Payment sector, David was only pipped to the top spot by Matt Lanford of MasterCard and jumped 8 places after being voted 9th in the list last year.

Commenting on his achievement, David Hunter said: “This is fantastic recognition for the work of all the team at Ukash as we continue to develop new solutions and expand our global network.  I am especially proud of the results achieved in such a dynamic market.”

“We look forward to what the next year will bring and I am positive that Ukash will continue to grow in emerging markets around the world, offering consumers a safe and secure way to shop, pay and play with cash online.”

Professionals in the payment industry had been voting for the past couple of weeks for the individuals that they believe have significantly contributed to the development of the industry. The final list was revealed at PayExpo, 18th-19th June.
