For the first time in many years, Arsenal entered the summer transfer market with a trophy in their hands.

Mesut Ozil was a huge signing for Arsenal last summer but they need to bring in more than one new player this year if they want to build upon their FA Cup win from last season and maintain a genuine Premier League title challenge.

The Gunners are lucky to have a strong core but require extra quality in some key areas. The main targets appear to be forwards Karim Benzema, Loïc Rémy and Alvaro Morata. With Arsenal planning to sign at least one striker, maybe we will be watching one of them play football in north London next season.

Mexican striker Carlos Vela continues to be linked with a return to the Emirates, having left two years ago. Arsenal eye up move for Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina after Napoli pulled out.
