The Messy Birth of A Vampire: The Prologue for Better Off Dead

October 8, 2013 3:18 pm0 Comments

In 2013, I published my very first book! It was a labour of love and took me, on and off writing it, 5 years to finish and be happy with, what with doing everything else around it like acting and living! There are lots more books and idea to appear, […]

Done With The Daily (And the Mail Online)

When I originally got into the Daily Mail, it was sort of by accident. I never bought the newspaper itself, so thankfully, I cannot list myself as a funder of tripe in times past. It was, however, one of the unrestricted news websites I could access at the workplace I […]

15 Things That Are True On The Sims (3), That You Wish Were True In Real Life

I’ve been somewhat of a lost cause ever since I got Sims 3 for the Xbox 360.  I’ve played it before of course, but now I used it as my chill-out time.  As a method of escape.  But it is possible to escape a little to much, and bemoan why […]

Hook - A Reflective Review

It’s hard to believe that ‘Hook’ the film based on Sir Barrie’s amazing Peter Pan story is over twenty years old now. I found it on beloved LoveFilm one Sunday night when I was at a loose end and in need of distraction… And what a movie to provide it! […]

Book Review - 77 Ways To Find New Readers

‘The biggest challenge for any writer is to let people know that their book exists’… This is, in my opinion, an absolute must-buy for all aspiring young writers, such as myself, who are starting out on the ladder of the writing industry and their first work is, unless they are […]

Predicting a baby boom: Will the Royal Birth start another mothering trend?

“When are we going to have our first baby?” I asked my long-suffering other half over breakfast under a week ago. Jonathan looked up with his mouth still half open, likely from shock, and stared at me unblinkingly for several seconds. I may as well have asked him if we […]

The White Queen: Addictive as Game Of Thrones; Better For Its Reality

I’m pretty sure my American second cousins, should they visit us again in the next few years, would be very surprised to discover that in England, we sadly do not all wear long medieval dresses, ride carts and plot the downfall of the present monarch. Because the new show in […]
