Salou is located in the north of Spain and if a great place for a holiday. Salou can make a good holiday for anyone whether its  family or a couple as there are things to do for  family and people of all ages.

Salou is known for its theme park PortAventura which is well worth the money. PortAventura also has a Costa Caribe aquatic park which is located next to the theme park. PortAventura is a great theme park with lots of rides for all the family but also dont miss the shows as PortAventura has shows on all day and they are not to be missed.

When To Go

June to August can be a very busy time of year. The end of May can sometimes be a rainy time of year in Salou but also is the quiet time of year which means less time spent lining up for rides when at theme and water parks. If you stay at The El Paso hotel then in May and September entry to Costa Caribe aquatic park if free.

If you wanted to spend your time in PortAventura and the Costa Caribe aquatic park then El Paso is the only all inclusive hotel, located next to PortAventura, and also includes entry to the theme park for your entire stay. El Paso also has food available all throughout the day and has evening entertainment every night of the week.

Tips

Salou Beach is also home to the Salou Dancing Fountain which is something everyone likes to go and watch and have their photo taken with. Also if your into Magic then Salou is home to House of Illusions, which is highly recommended and has great reviews; it is not cheap but is worth the money for some family evening entertainment.
