Britain is a tiny little island that against many other countries of the wilds might seem boring and dull. Living in the UK can be boring at times and the rainy weather often puts brits in a bad mood.

However; Britain is a stunning country and it has a lot to offer even for its natives – and we aim to share with you some of the ways to explore and enjoy Britain in all its glory this year. 

There are lots of benefits to Britain and today we want to show you just a few of the things you can enjoy here this year. 

Visit a castle 

Britain has some of the richest history in the world and wherever you go in the country there are historical sites of interest and cultural spots to explore. But you have never truly experienced Britain in its prime until you have been to a castle. Whether it be Bamburgh Castle in Scotland or Beaumaris in Wales – there are some stunning places to see and you’ll be able to experience the history of Britain firsthand. 

Enjoy stunning woodlands 

Britain has some amazing wildlife and natural landscapes to enjoy, and you can visit countless national parks to see the beauty of British wildlife. From the UK’s oldest historic trees to the cute little hedgehogs and mice in our gardens – we have some wonderful wildlife and as well as landscapes to enjoy. Take a trip to the Peak District and enjoy the peace and serenity of the woodland. 

Explore a conservation site 

British people are very passionate about animals, and if you really want to explore British landscapes in their prime you should visit a conservation site and see the good we do. One brilliant example is Formby Beach which has a conservation site for red squirrels to try and encourage their growth. Visiting a place like this is not only great for the views but also for the real change being made each day. 

Visit a Sandy beach 

Britain might be cold most of the time but it doesn’t mean this country doesn’t have some lovely beaches. Places such as Colwyn Bay or Lytham St Anne’s have stunning beaches that are full of character and life. The true brilliance of visiting a British beach is being able to sit and enjoy the sun with a 99 ice cream! 

Climb up a mountain 

Britain has some of the most amazing accessible mountains in the world and it is often taken for granted. If you are looking to make the most of your trip to Britain in 2021 you have to climb up at least one mountain. From the Great Orme to Ben Nevis and Helvellyn; there are plenty to choose from and lots of chances to enjoy Britain’s landscape.
