The most bizarre event in the music calendar is almost here.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 kicks off live at the Expo Tel Aviv, Israel, on Tuesday 14^th May. Over 200 million viewers are expected to tune in and watch as singing acts from 41 countries compete for the coveted glass microphone.

If history’s anything to go by, we’re in for some weird and wonderful moments. Last year brought us a Ukrainian singer popping out of a coffin, a €65k projector screen dress and a clucking-good winning song entry with a catchy chorus and its own trademark chicken dance.
