When you are watching a video that you find extremely useful, you may be tempted to save it so that you can watch it later on. Unfortunately many of the videos that you watch nowadays are likely not to have an option that will let you do that – which is especially the case on online streaming platforms or social media.

Although these platforms may not have an option that lets you save videos to watch later on, technically you can work your way around that. All that you need is Movavi Screen Capture Studio, as it is a screen capture software that will let you record any videos that you find useful directly from your screen and save them afterwards.

Assuming you’d like to jump right in and start to capture a useful video, just launch Movavi Screen Capture Studio. In the main window that opens up you should then click on the ‘Record screen’ option, to start the screen recorder.

As soon as you select that option, you can define the capture area by clicking and dragging the mouse cursor to draw a frame on-screen. In this case you’ll want it to encompass the video you’re recording, so that Movavi Screen Capture Studio records just that part of your screen.

After the capture area has been defined, the recording panel will appear with the controls as well as several options that you can adjust according to your needs. The only really important option in this case is the ‘System Audio’ icon that should be highlighted so that the audio is recorded.

When you are ready to begin just click ‘REC’ and Movavi Screen Capture Studio will start recording after a 5 second delay. That should give you plenty of time to play the video, and you can subsequently control the recording with the on-screen controls or by using hotkeys.

Once you click ‘Stop’ to finish the recording, you can save the video onto your hard drive so that you can watch it at any point that is convenient. Before you do so however, you may want to use Movavi Screen Capture Studio’s built-in editor to tweak the footage by improving its quality, cutting and joining video segments, adding captions, applying effects, and so on.

Suffice to say Movavi Screen Capture Studio will provide you with a quick and easy way to record and save videos that you find useful and would like to watch without having to be online. Odds are once you start to use it you’ll be hooked on the prospect immediately, so why not give it a try and see for yourself just how straightforward it is.
